13 slaughtered in a chapel breakdown in South Africa



JOHANNESBURG: Thirteen individuals were killed and 16 harmed when part of a congregation fallen on admirers following a rough tempest close to the eastern South African city of Durban, authorities said Friday.

The mishap happened late Thursday when a block divider under a temporary rooftop crumbled amid an administration at a Pentecostal church, a change over the shelter, in the town of Ndlangubo, north of Durban, in KwaZulu-Natal area.

"Such a disaster. 13 fatalities 16 individuals treated by paramedics," tweeted Robert McKenzie, a representative for Kwa-Zulu Natal region's crisis administrations.

Experts said the episode occurred amid a Passover administration around 1115 pm (2115 GMT) as many admirers assembled for the long few days of Easter administrations.
