Capture flame broils Hamza again in resources past methods case

LAHORE: Opposition pioneer in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz showed up before the Combined Investigation Team (CIT) of the National Accountability Bureau on Tuesday regarding illegal tax avoidance and resources past methods examination.

Hamza allegedly did not collaborate with the examination group and conceded answers to CIT group inquiries till Wednesday. Sources said Hamza indicated zero participation with the CIT individuals as he addressed a large portion of the inquiries with a solitary sentence "I will answer it tomorrow".

The sources said Hamza most likely did not participate because of his hearing under the watchful eye of the Lahore High Court (LHC) in his safeguard matter, which will be hung on April 17 (today). The LHC had controlled NAB from capturing Hamza till April 17.

In the interim, NAB dispatched polls to Nusrat Shahbaz, spouse of Shahbaz Sharif, and his two little girls - Javeria Ali and Rabia Imran. Prior, the NAB director had pulled back the call-up notification sent to the Shahbaz Sharif family's ladies.
