Trump vetoes bill to end US support for Saudi-drove Yemen war
WASHINGTON: President Donald Trump on Tuesday vetoed a goal from Congress guiding him to end US interest in the Saudi-drove war in Yemen, the second such move of his administration.
"This goal is a superfluous, risky endeavor to debilitate my protected experts, jeopardizing the lives of American residents and daring administration individuals, both today and later on," Trump said in an announcement.
He additionally guaranteed that US support was expected to "ensure the security of the in excess of 80,000 Americans who live in certain alliance nations that have been liable to Huthi assaults from Yemen," alluding to the Iran-adjusted powers in the nation.
